 Ramesh bhatkar, a renowned artiste in the MKarathi Theatre, Films and Hindi Television, famed for his roles in Hello Inspector and Commander, wa prosecuted on a false and motivated charge of rape, Mridula, his wife, then a sitting judge and Ramesh had to traverse the legal and social storm, and turmoil which was unusual and unnerving.

Whereas a judge must lead her life, a firefly that glitters only in the dark, and should stay away from the publicity and media, the need for public approval and criticism is an inseparable part of an artiste's profession. 

This is the story of their faith in the judicial system and their struggle for survival.
