The very first Edition of the book which was published in 2016 has won accolades at the hands of the users of the book as also from the Chief Justice of India as is evident from the Certificate of Honour awarded by the Supreme court Bar Association to the author on 26.11.2017 which reads as "This is to certify that Mr Rajat Baijal is a member of the Supreme Court Bar Association and was honoured by the Chief Justice of India on the Law Day Function for authoring book entitled as 'Law of Protection of Women from Domestic Violence". It is gratifying to note that the book has been well-received by the readers for its copies were sold out within a short period. At first blush I was awestruck by the massiveness of the lot photocopies of judgements provided by the publishers for revision of the book. The task was stupendous but I was determined to accomplish it to the best of my ability. The book is now being placed before the readers for their evaluation. I trust that I have been able to do justice to the work.
